Intimate Yosemite National Park Elopement
This Yosemite elopement is sure to make your heart skip a beat.
Victoria and Logan met in high school but didn’t truly connect until a few years later when they ran into each other at a nearby bar and exchanged numbers.
Their first date was to a FL Panthers hockey game where Victoria spilled red wine all over Logan’s white shirt—that was the moment he knew she was the one.
From then on, they were inseparable, going on epic dates, traveling the world together, and now taking on their greatest adventure yet—marriage.
Victoria and Logan chose Yosemite as their elopement destination, and I couldn’t have been more excited to help them bring to life their dream wedding in one of the most amazing national parks.
Both of their parents joined us as we took our time getting ready at a beautiful Airbnb overlooking a valley right outside the national park, where they also had their first look.
We then headed off into the park and found a beautiful little area overlooking the iconic Half Dome and the valley below surrounding Glacier Point, tucked away from other tourists and visitors.
After their private vows, the three of us set off into the sunset to snap some portraits. Following a short hike through the woods, the landscape opened up to massive cliff sides, dramatic vistas of the Yosemite Valley, and another Yosemite icon, El Capitan.
If you dare, you can get right up to the cliff’s edge and peer straight down (not for the faint of heart).
Their parents caught up with us later and we watched the sun lower over the horizon until deep into blue hour when we were the only ones left.
We had a celebratory dinner of sandwiches and chips in the dark lit only by our headlamps and flashlights before making the hike back to the parking lot.
Victoria and Logan’s day was everything they wanted and more—simple, fun, adventurous, and full of spontaneity. It couldn’t have been more perfect if we tried.
To Victoria and Logan: I am beyond grateful for being able to capture your true, authentic love for one another. And I wish you a lifetime of happiness and epic adventures!
